Summerfield covers the southeast corner of Marion County — Del Webb Spruce Creek and Stonecrest on one side, and genuine horse and cattle acreage out along CR-42 and CR-475 on the other. That split means two very different jobs. In the 55+ communities it is usually careful, tidy work: a stump out of a back yard, an overgrown lot line, debris hauled off without tearing up the sod getting to it. Out on the acreage it is pasture reclamation, fence lines and arena pads. We do both, and we bring the right size machine for which one it is instead of showing up with an excavator for a stump job.

HOA rules, CR-42 acreage and what each needs
In Spruce Creek and Stonecrest, the association's architectural rules usually decide what can come down and when, so we ask to see the approval before we schedule a stump or tree removal. Access is the other constraint: narrow side yards, irrigation lines and finished sod mean a smaller machine, mats under it, and debris carried out rather than dragged across the lawn.
Outside those communities, Summerfield is sandy upland with pockets of lower ground near the lakes. The soil drains fast, which is good for arena and barn pads and bad for anything left bare. That is why on pasture reclamation we often mulch rather than scrape — the mulch keeps the sand from blowing and washing until grass comes back. Along CR-42 and CR-475, most of our Summerfield work is fence-line clearing, overgrown pasture, pads for barns and new homes, and hauling off storm debris.
