We own our equipment

Excavators, skid steers with grapple and mulching heads, and a backhoe. That matters for two reasons. We are not waiting on a rental yard to schedule your job, and we are not showing up with the wrong size machine because it was the only one available. A quarter-acre lot in the Shores and twenty acres out toward Fort McCoy are different jobs and they get different iron.

We walk it before we price it

Every estimate is free and every estimate happens in person. Nobody can price land clearing off a photograph — what is standing on the property, how wet the ground is, whether a machine can even get in, and what has to happen to the debris all move the number enormously. You get a written, itemised price and it does not move once we start unless you change the scope.

We leave the good trees

Clearing does not have to mean scraping a property flat. On most jobs the mature oaks are exactly why somebody bought the land, and they stay. Mark them or walk them with us. The only thing worth knowing is that a tree's roots reach about as far out as its canopy, so we keep heavy equipment off that ground — you can kill a tree that is still standing when we leave.
